Re-board® designers and convertors started with a handful of basic structural designs about 15 years ago. Since then they have pushed borders of what paper can do and inspired other designers and companies world wide to follow.


Although Re-board® design can be extraordinary, most Re-board® produce for the easy to make - easy to use applications. Displays, wall systems or signage or anything. To support a good start we are building the World of Re-board®.

Re-board® is a lightweight yet exceptionally strong paper core board with a patented fluted core. The unique engineered structure makes it the preferred creative board and ideal for both 3D and 2D constructions. 

Our product is developed primarily as an alternative to plastic/foam board and 
MDF/plywood materials. Our natural material originates from Nordic FSC certified paper mills and is 100% recyclable. All products have EPD and with CO2 levels below 2 kg/m2, our emissions are up to 15 times less than MDF, chipboards and other wood-based materials.

Acclimatization

Format accuracy and form stability within tolerances is one of Re-board’s great advantages. However, temperature and humidity may affect the flatness of the sheets, hence it is essential to store sheets according to instructions and always ensure acclimatization before use. If sheet specifications are to be found outside stated tolerances, make sure to save the pallet identification number (Pallet ID) for tracking purposes.


-	Sheet width tolerance: +/- 3 mm
-	Sheet length tolerance: +/- 3 mm
-	Sheet thickness tolerance: +/- 0,3 mm
-	Sheet curvature/warping tolerance from flat in acclimatized conditions: max 10 mm at sheet corner

Retail Fit-Out at Its Best

There were some significant challenges that Next Printing faced during the design phase of this transformation. Initial site checks showed that many of the existing timber booth structures to be clad with Re-board® were not perfectly square, a major consideration during the industrial design process. And to add more pressure, the entire re-fit needed to be completed in one night.

For production purposes, Next Printing divided the project into 10 jobs corresponding with the main areas to be updated. Treating these as individual mini projects, allowed for quicker approvals and movement through production. The items were then packed by area for speedy allocation and unpacking on-site.

Utilizing a team of six experienced installers and approximately 90 Sheets of Re-board® along with other substrates, Next Printing assembled and built a variety of custom structures on site. Some items (for example the main Dreamburger entry feature) were pre-built prior to installation and transported to site to expedite the build.
